A cross-sectional survey research design was adopted, with a population of 2,382 SMEs. A sample size of 406 SMEs was determined using the Krejcie and Morgan table, with an additional 20% to account for non-response. Stratified and purposive sampling techniques were employed in selecting the respondents. Out of the 406 questionnaires administered, 382 were retrieved, while 363 were found usable for data analysis. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0. The findings revealed that innovativeness, proactiveness, and risk-taking had positive and significant
