The Role of Leadership Engagement in Enhancing Organisational Performance: Study of Selected Hotels in Jos Metropolis, Plateau State

The study investigated leadership engagement role in enhancing organisational performance with focus on hotels in Jos Metropolis of Plateau State. Descriptive survey research design was used as the research design. Questionnaire method was adopted to obtain information from one hundred and eighty-nine-nine (189) respondents which represents 80.4% response rate. The study tested the formulated hypothesis with SPSS tools, through the use of multiple regression was employed to test each of the dimensional effects of the leadership engagement on organisational performance. Result study indicated that leadership engagement has an influence on organisational performance. In conclusion, leadership’ engagement should ought to be assimilated into human resource coordination and dealings, since it has a strong backing on the side of organisational performance. The study proposes that management of hotels should encourage leadership
engagement when it comes to administrative activities,
because it has a way of enhancing organisational
performance
