Abstract

The rapid digitization of the creative economy has created both opportunities and sustainability challenges within contemporary artistic practice. However, limited scholarly attention has been given to how technological innovation can simultaneously enhance artistic production, environmental responsibility, and economic advancement. This study examines the intersection of innovative art, sustainable practice, and technological integration using a qualitative, theory-driven analytical approach anchored in the Triple Bottom Line Theory and Creative Economy Theory. Through critical analysis of digital art platforms, blockchainbased art markets, AI-assisted production, and eco-conscious material practices, the study finds that technology expands global market access, reduces material waste, and enables new income models such as NFTs and virtual exhibitions. Nevertheless, issues of accessibility, digital divide, and copyright ethics remain significant constraints. The study recommends policy support for digital literacy, affordable technological access, and regulatory frameworks for AI-generated art to ensure inclusive and sustainable growth in the creative sector.
