The Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Jos, is pleased to announce a call for articles for the upcoming issue of the Journal of Environmental Sciences (JOES).

## About JOES

The Journal of Environmental Sciences (JOES) is a reputable peer-reviewed academic journal that focuses on publishing high-quality research articles spanning a wide range of thematic areas related to environmental sciences and sustainability. The journal aims to provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to share their latest findings, innovations, and perspectives on critical environmental issues.

Thematic Areas Covered:

  1. Climate Change: The journal welcomes papers that investigate the science, impacts, and mitigation strategies related to climate change, including topics such as greenhouse gas emissions, carbon sequestration, climate adaptation, and climate policy.
  2. Environmental Sustainability: JOES publishes research on the sustainable use and management of natural resources, environmental protection, and the development of eco-friendly technologies and practices.
  3. Environmental Management: The journal covers topics related to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of environmental management systems, including waste management, pollution control, and environmental impact assessment.

We invite original research articles, review papers, and short communications from researchers, scholars, and practitioners in the field of environmental sciences. All submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:

- Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format, double-spaced, with 12-point font size.
- The manuscript should not exceed 6,000 words, including the abstract, main text, references, and figure captions.
- An abstract of up to 250 words and 4-6 keywords should be provided.
- Citations should follow the APA style (7th edition).
- All figures and tables should be numbered and have appropriate captions.
- Submissions must be made via the JOES online submission system at https://journals.unijos.edu.ng/ojs/index.php/joes/submissions or through email: pontipn@unijos.edu.ng
